HampshireGardener
In case anyone is worried about the nest box ventilation slot in the Cube being a weak spot for anything grabbing their chickens legs or feet that may poke through, we put 2 layers of tiny squared rigid wire inside, right across, slightly offset to make the holes even smaller, and fixed it in using self tapping screws. It also stops the bedding falling through. I only mention this because someone told me they had blocked the slot using wood and a fox had managed to push it out and got one of their chickens legs and another's foot. Well they're not having ours!
Flossieflipflop
That's a good idea - might have to do that with our cube. It is a big old hole, isn't it?!
