Mint Sauce

This is for Luxury Apple Sauce.

 

Peel and slice Bramley apple thinly.

Put in pan.

Add 3tbsp cider, the zest of half a lemon, a k"Ooops, word censored!" of butter and sugar to taste.

Simmer until soft. (Keep an eye that it doesn't burn, add a little more liquid if needed)

Allow to cool.

 

Blend if you like it smoother.

 

For bog standard Apple Sauce replace the cider with water and omit the lemon zest.
