Martin B
Hi again, Does anybody have a recipe for mint sauce. I am just about to sow some seeds for an indoor crop, and I would love to turn it into sauce for a roast lamb lunch. Ta, Martin
bronze
I do 1/2 cup mint leaves (mashed or shredded or blendered (word?)) to 1 cup vinegar stick in a saucepan add a couple of tablespons of sugar and simmer for 20 odd mins

Martin B
Any recipes for Apple Sauce aswell?? Martin
Egluntyne
This is for Luxury Apple Sauce. Peel and slice Bramley apple thinly. Put in pan. Add 3tbsp cider, the zest of half a lemon, a k"Ooops, word censored!" of butter and sugar to taste. Simmer until soft. (Keep an eye that it doesn't burn, add a little more liquid if needed) Allow to cool. Blend if you like it smoother. For bog standard Apple Sauce replace the cider with water and omit the lemon zest.
