Alis girls
My OH mocks me for my special offers deals. I am aware many of them are cons but as I buy a paper daily I have been entering my Daily Mail reward number and sending for money off cards when I have enough points. Got most of ES's uni kitchen bits with Tesco and Morrisons £5 cards I collected.I have sent for all the plants where you get £30 worth of plants and pay P&P only. But today it went pear shaped as my email for my free M&S chicken had fallen out my bag/pocket when I gave some money for charity at the entrance of supermarket. I was cross as I had saved long and hard. So we went home and printed off another copy of email and went to M&S and got my free dinner before any thiving person did so. OH roared called it the Chicken run and Chicken Rage - oh ha bloomin ha - anyway said chicken is now in the oven. So feel free to mock but I suspect there are more like me on the forum. Cinnamon
I do the Mail rewards too & find it really good as firstly the paper is free where I work & secondly they do John Lewis vouchers, where I get discount Just bought 6 gorgeous hanging baskets with my gift vouchers! PS: its a MUCH better deal to save up for the higher value cards rather than the £5 ones
Alis girls
Thanks Cinnamon - I havent got any cards for ages as I was getting the plants etc. There was an offer for 2 for 1 spa thing but nearest was Luton. I dont get paper free - but its well read - do all the crosswords etc and do like a sit with a cuppa and a read. I cant get the same fix from reading on line I am afraid. I think its my Midland upbringing - my mum was a huge coupon freak. Theres some good offers but hanging on till something I want comes along. Charlottechicken
Ooh, I love a freebie too and as mum buys the Daily Mail I save the numbers up to get her shopping vouchers. Mum prepays for her paper and they send vouchers which she hands over at the newsagent, it's cheaper and I think other papers do it too I've got a cashback credit card as well so get shopping vouchers for paying the bills, just had a summer outfit of jeans, sandals and top for free courtesy of vouchers
