Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi everyone,

 

I have 3 different sussex hens (see signature) that are now about 27/28 weeks old. But only daisy is laying. After a few false starts (soft shells or no shells) she now produces like clockwork. with autumn closing in fast i'm wodering if it is at all likely the other two will start laying this side of winter?

I'd say probably Spring now.

 

I had Pekins last year at more or less the same age as your girls. One came into lay on the 13th Sept, the other not until the following spring.
