Christmas Gift Bargains

Recommended Posts

.... Also Chicken School is a very good book for all those little youngsters at heart. By Jeremy Strong and it's so good, may I say so myself a 13 year old!

8) Thanks for the recommendation, Noeglu. My daughter had a couple of books by that author for Christmas last year, so I know what to get her now! Can't believe I haven't seen that title before, so thanks for telling us.

Hope you get what you wish for & can change your name to Ivor Neglu one day, when either your Dad or Father Christmas can afford it & thinks its worthwhile! :D

I spend too much money with Amazon  Not sure it's quite the same thing as loving it, but once I'm on there I keep finding must haves, so I never end up with a small 1 item order, more like a give the postman a hernia as he struggles up the path type order :roll:

I'm the same on CD Wow too  .

I keep telling people I'm not keen on shopping (unless it's for shoes), avoid it if I can...... but all I really do is avoid shopping centres, and spend a fortune online instead  .

KateA - you're not alone  I hate shopping but manage to spend enough online

I even managed to spend over £200 just sitting on my backside when my leg was in plaster from top to bottom - I was that bored, I found the shopping channels  I wish this forum had been around then!
