Chickabee
Went shopping on Friday to buy cousin a chicken to keep at my house. She chose a Bluebelle and I couldn't resist my dream chicken, a beautiful Brahma. She is in lay and was in with the most fantastic looking Cockrel. She had apparently been covered by him that day. The big question is how long will her eggs be fertile for and are pulleys eggs viable? I have a very successful broody who has just turned, so I'm a tiny bit excited
sjp
probably about a week -10 days but it'll also depend on how many times the lad was successful I've hatched pullet eggs and ended up with a couple of nice girls from them the first attempt the pullet had only been laying a week and I only put the egg in to make up the numbers and as a marker point as it was the only egg that stood out from the rest.it was the first time I'd used the incubator
