Hi, a couple of questions if I may. I'm considering getting a cube, I currently have my large Orpingtons in a shed and walk in run and I'm fed up of rats eating holes in the wood! So question number 1 is, will my large cockerel be able to manage the ladder? Anyone else who's got Orpingtons with a cube may be able to answer that one! Second question is about the run, I'm looking on eBay for second hand cube and there's one without the run and I can't see on omlet website where to get the run bit underneath the cube sides if you know what I mean, appreciate any help on either of these, many thanks

We've had Orpingtons and Brahma in the Cube, they can manage the pop hole and ladder no problems.

 

I can't see the panels for around the Cube on the website but if you give Omlet a ring they definitely do sell them.

Orpingtons aren't the most agile chickens are they lol! Not worried about my legbars managing at all! Will give omlet a ring, thanks:)

It's very easy and inexpensive to adapt the ladder to make easier to use if needs be. Don't worry, most manage it. My little silkie had a problem she tried climbing up,the side of the cage like Spider-Man, but kept falling off
