I have 3 columbian blactails. They are fantastic layers. Thing is they free range all day in my enormous garden. I can't find their eggs. I think my Labrador is finding them before me. He's 12 and I think 3 eggs a day will not be doing him any good at all. Shall I just keep them in for a few days to try and change their pattern, then follow them round the garden for a few days

I have 2 columbian blacktails, they do the same and one of them gets broody on the hidden nest so often. I don't think I will have more of them

Yes mine get broody too. Didn't think they would being hybrids
