Ain't Nobody Here
Don't know about you but I've always struggled with shower curtains growing that horrible pink mildew on them, which is impossible to remove. I recently found one on Amazon which purported to be mildew proof so thought I'd give it a go. I bought it at the end of July and there's no sign of any type of mould or mildew growing on it as yet. Can't quite remember how quickly it usually appears but that seems quite hopeful (3 very active adults - plus me! - in the house so lots of showers daily). They're half price at the moment so if you're interested, here's the link. There are 3 different sizes so be careful which one you choose. *click*
Olly
Crikey, that sounds good. I'm just resigned to replacing them every six months or so, I'd love to find one that stays free of the dreaded black spots.
mullethunter
We use PVC ones (quite tricky to find) and they don't seem to mould
patsylabrador
I bought a cloth type one from Dunelm Mill which is a year old roughly and still in good nick. It says do not machine wash or tumble but I did anyway and it's fine. I just use the delicates cycle. I wondered if that was stopping the mildew because I haven't done that before but I really like this curtain and wanted to keep it.
