lost-sheep Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 can anydody tell me whether there is a large sebright breed?? i saw some ?normal? ones that were very small! i love them they are so pretty but my mum said i couldnt get any cos the eggs would be a stupidly small size!! all help welcome!! xChicken04x Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 Sorry nope, the sebright is a true bantam (they have no large fowl equivelent.) The eggs arn't very good in my "handy chicken book" it says: "You do not keep this breed for its egg laying production. Laying performance seems to vary, with some owners claiming good numbers while others say they only get few. Those eggs that are produced are small and have light coloured shells."
