ABR02 Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Hello, I just wondered what you did, if anything, to relieve boredom amongst your chickens? Do they even get bored? I have been wondering about getting a swing or putting in a log etc for them to climb on, play with but maybe this is not necessary. Would appreciate any feedback. Chickabee Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Hi, chickens love scratching, eating and perching. So, make sure they have flooring they can scuff around in. Give them some perches. Hang food or throw in whole cabbages, or similar. Oh I nearly forgot dust bathing. If they haven't got an area get a cat litter tray or and old tyre or similar. mollyripkim Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Same as Chickabee here, aside from food items they have a tree branch, logs, a wrought iron chair and a xylophone.
