mullethunter
Yesterday evening when I got home (OH had let the girls out half an hour earlier) I noticed that Margot looked like classic poorly chicken...standing on her own, hunched up, tail down. This is very unusual. I caught her and picked her up and she had a very full watery feeling crop, but as it was the end of the day I thought best to leave until morning. I then cleaned out the Cube, and under where she sleeps was a large egg with no she'll or membrane - just spread out like a fried egg, and a small (acorn sized) 'membrane' egg of just white. (Gave all that to the others who were delighted - somehow Shelley managed to sneak off with the whole yolk without anyone else noticing!). Could it have been laying that that made her seem so poorly? I'm assuming she laid it in the morning and this was tea time. She was still not herself this morning and did some horrid jellyish white poos overnight, but her crop was empty. She seemed pretty much back to normal this evening.
mullethunter
Well - I got some Beryl's bacteria thinking that might help if the problem is (as I have long suspected) that her gut isn't working properly. But this morning this poo was in the tray. Has anyone seen this and can offer any advice? Should I give the Beryl's or see a vet? She's fine in herself now. Luvachicken
Very detailed poo picture I think I've seen poop like that before but honestly can't remember. If you use the Beryl's formula be prepared for the most foul smelling liquid. It turned my stomach when I used it once. How has she been today as I notice you posted this yesterday ?
