ajm200
What the latest opinion on Diatomaceous earth in the dustbath. The bag that I bought on the advice of the forum back in 2008 has finally run out. Wondering whether I need to restock as the chickens were treated with ivermectin before I got them and I have more to use in 6 months. The spot on treatment should be sufficient l, shouldn’t it? Did I read that it is also a wormer? Does it cover all worms?
The Dogmother
I would use the spot on and drop the DE; there has been a big re-think on using it as it causes so many respiratory and mucous membrane issues in birds and humans. I would rely on either Ivermectin or Flubenvet (or both!) for worming.
