Maria Posted July 5, 2019 Share Posted July 5, 2019 Hi, I’ve recently lost 1 of my hens, which now leaves me with just 1 (Daisy). She is looking rather lost and lonely and isn’t her usual self. I know chickens are very social creatures so I’m thinking about getting her a rabbit companion. Or would it be better to have more hens? Is there anyone else who is or has been in this situation? The Dogmother Posted July 5, 2019 Share Posted July 5, 2019 Introduce more hens (check the introductions thread in the FAQ section) best not to mix hens with rabbits; the former can easily peck at shiny eyes, and the latter packs quite a kick!
