Guest
just took on two ex-batts and switched to mash cos that's what they are used to. Miggins tucks in all day - and seems to enjoy it - but has stopped laying... maybe the batts put her off her stride - but seems like a bit of a coincidence.. has anyone here converted ex-batts to pellets? not that i want to now - i will give it time, but i have considered mixing pellets with mash and converting them slowly anyone got experience or stories to share? Rabbieboy
I could only get Layers meal when we ran short of the pellets we got with the Cube, the girls seem to spend more time feeding on it but they do make a mess with it as they spill it from the feeders. It might be a coincidence but Marilyn stopped laying for a few days after we changed to the meal, she also layed a softy in the roosting area of the Cube. She's back to normal now though. Karen & co.
Hi I gave my rescue girls mash to start with, more as a 'comfort' food so they felt a little less stressed by new experiences, then gradually added a few pellets, and kept increasing the ammount of pellets untill that's all they had. They didn't seem to miss the mash and the pellets are cleaner in as much as they don't make as much mess with them. Glad to hear your girls are settling in well karen x
