Keely G
Hi. My hen (9 months old) has white watery poo for the last couple of days. She is well in herself - walks around with her tail up, scratches about, but is not her usual spritely self and is not really eating her pellets anymore and doesn't come running for treats (probably because she's feeling down). I have put them on worming pellets today however she's not eating them so they won't exactly be helping at the moment. She has ACV in her water and is drinking well. As a side note (in case it is important), she had sour crop and a shell-less egg a month ago, and hasn't laid since (up until then she laid every day). Any ideas? I don't want her to loose too much weight with the lack of food as I'm sure she would go down hill quite quickly then.
The Dogmother
Ok, so which worming pellets are you using, and are you shutting them in the run while you worm so that they all get to eat them and nothing else? The white poo doesn't sound good - you should take her to a chicken-savvy vet if you aren't experienced enough to deal with this at home..
