I've just had a PM from Jonboy on River Cottage telling me to check out the chicken section where there is a locked topic called "Eglu Wars"... "Dear posters in the Chicken and other Poultry section, due to the recent spate of posts in reference to whether Eglus are any good or not I have decided to make this post which I thought I would entitle " The Eglu Wars" Lots of people have opinions as to whether they are any good or not , those who have them seem to love them , and those who dont own one dont seem so keen on them. me I couldnt give a monkeys as im not allowed to keep chickens where I live I understand this war has also been waged in other poultry forums for a while , so ask you all to call a ceasfire here as its starting to disrupt the normal pleasant helpful advice in this section. After some contributors pming me their concerns on some replies, I have edited or deleted some posts as it was felt they were not adding anything useful to the section. Please keep posting your useful advice and suggestions, but please no more Eglu wars. chocchick Posted December 30, 2005 Share Posted December 30, 2005 Gosh, I'd missed this forum and just caught up. I think I should stay locked inside my eglu and hide from scary non-eglu people. Just shows I should stay on this forum, I've become addicted over Christmas and another forum as well wouldn't be healthy! I must point out that in the link Kate gave with the corregated iron/cute chicken there is a link to Eglus directly underneath the chicken. Hooray!
