Vanessa D Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 New hen laying 2 eggs We have 4 hens about 22 weeks old now and all.are laying, but our Devon blue hen is laying 2 eggs a day, in close succession and some are quite large. I have read that this is possible for new laying hens but I am worried there maybe something amiss with her. She's been laying 2 eggs within about an hour or 2 for about 2 weeks now.
