woffle
Any ideas? We usually get only get a maximum of 2 a day, 1's in the box first thing in the morning when we let the girls out, the other 1's there by lunchtime (one of the chickens is mid-moult and hasn't laid in the 4 weeks we've had here). There's a marked difference in 'style and color' in the eggs from each respective hen - my daughter insists that every egg is labelled with name of chicken and day of the week so we know who's laid and when. This 4 looks to be 2 of each 'style'. Yesterday we had 2 as per usual and my wife swears blind that there were no eggs when she put the girls to bed at 6pm last night... Egluntyne
One will have laid late yesterday and then again today. I've had 9 eggs form 8 hens several times.
superjules
Oooh, you lucky people. We consider ourselves fortunate if we get !egg! from GNR (bless them)! More often it's just ! I'll have to make them watch Chicken Run so they know what happens if they don't perform! OH keeps asking which we're having for Xmas dinner. I've told him they won't be tasty cos they're bred for laying but he's not entirely convinced!!
