Dancing Gal
I tell you what these girls are soooo cool and such funny characters. Dave and Sharon, the 2 Polands are so very friendly and already quite tame. They are easy to pick up and pet. Dave is always first out of the house in the morning and definitely the greediest. Sharon follows him everywhere. Kylie is of course a bit of a showgirl - but she will keep washing her hair and ends up looking like a punk rocker. Fortunately they all had a good wash in the rain the other day, then a lovely blow dry by the wind and the sunshine so her coiffure is better today. More showgirl. Matilda the little sussex is very shy and seems to be a the bottom of the pecking order. She trembles when you stroke her. She did make a bolt for it on the first evening so we had an interesting 10 minutes doing the chicken chase. They all seem to get along and only peck each other when they get in the way. Saturday we shall be building them a bigger area to spread out in, but it will have to be enclosed as they are small enough for the cats to be interested if they we loose. Although the cats are quite scared of them at the mo'. So they are already horribly spoilt - corn, melon, cucumber, tomatoes etc etc and constant cleaning of the house. (not sure how long I'll keep that up!) I spend my precious half hour lunch break rushing home to see them and give them a treat. All this trouble and no eggs yet
