Snowy
It's difficult if you don't know when she is about to lay. I shut mine in their eglu run if I know they are about to lay. Or you could try leaving a pot egg in the nest to show her the way?
Omletina Kyckling
Hi - Helga laid her first egg in a nest she made in a bush - she shouted to let me know she'd laid it so I found it - I put it and her in the Eglu nest box to show here where she should have laid. The next day she was heading for the same area, so I picked her up and put her in the Eglu, with the run door closed. She was confused and went in and out and in and out - I put some of the leaves from her first nest in the eglu nest box and she laid in there. Day three she still returned to the original place so I repeated the same thing and she laid in the eglu. Day four was the same. Day five (it was raining) she went straight to the Eglu without any fuss and laid in the nest box and she has done that the next five times with no problem. I don't know if this will work with Blinky but it certainly worked with Helga. Good luck!
