Murdo
Very pleased that my less than subtle hints were noticed and I'm the latest member of this forum to have Square Foot Gardening. Just measured up my beds and they're all an inch short in each direction (47 x 119). That will teach me not to go metric. Anyone else out there digging over their plots today ? We're doing a little puppy - chicken socialisation at the same time. Also got a book called Cube Foot Gardening (which does at least have the grace to credit Mel Bartholomew for his original.) Lesley
Well done Murdo for the not-so-subtle hints - I refer to it as 'Square 30' gardening now - having two young grandchildren! I gave up trying to explain a foot! Digging over the plots - today? - in the ice and snow? - no thank you!!

Trish
Thought about it Murdo decided against it when it started snowing again. Mulled wine by the fire I think
Karen & co.
I pootled around in the garden yesterday picking up the leaves that I'd been meaning to do for the past few weeks Today? nah took the children to the new 10 pin bowling nearby, then lit the fire and the red wine was calling!
