iphoto library help needed!

Recommended Posts

Evening All!

I have just plugged my camera into my ibook G4 and it asked which library i would like to put the pictures in? I closed it down and clicked on iphoto. The whole lot has disappeared!

I can't get any pictures up through iphoto unless i go through Finder.

I haven't had my Mac long, but wondered if anyone had any ideas??

Thanks

Hello, I think I used to do the same thing. When you are in iphoto can you select the 'import' option from the top bit and then you choose the photos from the finder menu and it sends them all in?

When I plug my camera in it normally just uploads them all automatic. I am not that great with computers but seem to be ok with my mac laptop.

I think if you can see the photos in your finder you can just select them all and drag them into the window of the iphoto library and that should put them there too.

Hope that makes sense, I normally tend to confuse people more than they were to start with!

oh I am glad it worked! Surprised that you understood me, but still glad!

I like macs, they seem to be a lot more straight forward than the pcs we have in the office at work. I don't like to use those.

:)

ps just looked at your blog. I love the chicken pumkin it looks wonderful. I have been very lazy this year and not got round to it :(
