Our 4 chickems have just come to the end of a marathon.

Over the last 10 weeks we have had 277 eggs. During that time 1 Gingernut has laid every day and the others have only missed a day each.

The end came at the weekend, for 2 days we had no eggs. No doubt that the fireworks were responsible for the abrupt halt.

Today all 4 laid again!

I started reading this post with a totally different idea in mind, especially with the title being, 'long run' and you then started saying your hens had just finished a marathon....
