Christian
I think this site was posted a while ago, as i remember the tip about using wood ash to stop mites. I had lost the address though. Thanks for posting it Egluntine. I have saved it (again)
tomalexi
As far as homeopathy is concerned, I'm afraid it is complete and utter nonsense. There isn't a shred of evidence that it works and the theory behind it is bizarre and utterly unproven. I've researched homeopathy for years and have yet to find a single well-designed repeatable study that demonstrates any effect, either in animals or humans. BUT the effect of the placebo user bias, self-limiting illnesses etc. can make it appear to work. Homeopathic treatments won't cause any direct harm (because they are so diluted there won't be anything active ingredient left in them). There is potential for harm though by using homeopathy and delaying the use of proven conventional treatments. I'm aware of the strong feelings some people have about homeopathy but beliefs don't change the laws of physics. Please save your money! I use them, my dad has made an amazing recovery from major surgery using them and my pets have all done very well. It's not instead of conventional treatment but in association with. There's always room for another's view, it would be dull if we all felt the same but sorry don't agree with you on this. BBx
