adeandsu Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 Hooray - on the coldest day of the year - Spiderman, our Gingernut, laid her first egg! The chooks were rewarded with some fruity porridge! We had become resigned to waiting - Spiderman arrived on 25 September and still has a fairly small comb and wattles. But, she had been crouching for ages and this last week the crouching became even more 'determined'! Now we have two layers, and based on Cinderella's current output (and what I've heard about Gingernut Rangers) I reckon we can look forward to eggs every day Ade Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
