Louise Posted December 6, 2007 Share Posted December 6, 2007 Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me with this As most of you know my mum has been quite poorly and one of my neighbours has been a godsend in helping to keep her cheery by visiting and making soup/casseroles etc She is the sort of person who really doesn't need anything but we want to do something for her My idea was to get a portrait painted of her beloved lurcher dog who sadly had to be PTS a couple of months ago I got her partner to mail me a picture but the artist I was planning to use has stopped taking commisions as she is so busy just now I have mailed asking when she thinks she will start again as I don't mind waiting a bit for it but she has not replied so I need to try and find someone else Does anyone have a recommendation for someone they have used for this sort of thing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its on her cat site as "Taz in the sink" She is very good but maybe a bit pricey for what you want?
