Popcorn
Has anyone seen this film? You have to see it if not. It is such a lovely, lovely film. We watched it on DVD on Friday night, and normally I get up half way through a film to stretch my legs and make a drink as I get bored quite easily sitting in one place...but this film....well, I was glued. Here's a little review if you are interested. Cinema Paradiso Review I still feel all warm inside
Mrs Blue Sky
Haven't seen it, but will look out for it now, thank you. The last film I saw that had me glued to the sofa was The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, a lovely story and twisty enough to keep your interest. Mrs Frugal
I love it, Gina . It's one of my favourites and I've got it on DVD. If you liked that, try Il Postino which is equally heart warming and like going on a gentle holiday.
Cinnamon
I have never seen it, but it has been on my tooo watch list for a long time now! Whenever its onn I always forget to set Sky+,maybe I should just splash out on the DVD? I was in Henley last week & they were filming a Bollywood Extravaganza in the square....lots of gorgoeus girls in bright colours dancing around & lovely boys picking them up & twirling them....it was fab We get a lot of filming here, in fact I may even put my house on one of those location websites Wierdest thing was when they filmed in the little local garage up the road from me for a TV show,& used the inside of that for the interior shots, then for the outside shots they used another garage, which was next door to my Mums house in Dartmouth,Devon. I forget the show now...Pauline Quirk, all about self sufficiancy...someone will remember!

Cinnamon
Thats the one - thank you The also used the exterioir of Henley town hall, & for the interior shots used a place in Dartmouth where you could see the river from the windows. We had great fun spotting the 2 towns we know really well in the same show Apparantly they may be filming some of the new Harry Potter locally, I will certainly be loitering around set for that one! Popcorn
I love it, Gina . It's one of my favourites and I've got it on DVD. If you liked that, try Il Postino which is equally heart warming and like going on a gentle holiday. Will give that a go Kate - someone else has recommended that too. What about My Life as a Dog? Have you seen that? I think it's in Belgiun (that spelling looks wrong!) That's another lovely film worth a viewing.
