feemcg
Normally I have 8 big girls in the cube, 4 in the purple eglu and the 2 youngest chickens and 2 ducks in the pink eglu (all the runs are open into one another now). I went out tonight to try out my new head lamp (which is fantastic, a must for chicken-keepers) and the pink eglu was empty - yes, 6 chickens and 2 ducks in one eglu . Mrs Frugal
Oh bless them! I went to check on my girls in the Cube earlier and had 6 of them in the nest and one on the bars . Talk about sardines .

I've been thinking I can't ask 6 hens to sleep in one eglu! Maybe I can??
