Egluntyne
If you came onto this thread for the first time you would be forgiven for wondering exactly which sort of wind the title of the thread was referring to! It is still very windy here in Sheffield. Lovely and sunny though.
Ain't Nobody Here
We're on our fourth day of strong winds . If you came onto this thread for the first time you would be forgiven for wondering exactly which sort of wind the title of the thread was referring to! I wouldn't mind a thread on the other type of wind - could do with some tips .
Yorkshire Pudding
Try not eating too many oaty bars! Seriously Lesley please post your recipe, anything with rhubarb is welcome in this house and they sound delicious. The farm sells forced rhubarb at the gate, though only by the boxful so my Mum and I split a box between us - it's that marvellous Barbie-pink stuff. We are at the heart of the Rhubarb Triangle here, so eating it is compulsory. The wind has died at last and today has been beautifully warm - the girls have been helping me around the garden. We will soon clear a patch near the decking area and plant a mini kitchen garden there (very mini). We plan some herbs and salad crops, YS wants to grow tomatoes and purple carrots. Other suggestions are most welcome - preferably veg that are attractive to look at as well as good to eat.
