The Dogmother
A few weeks before he was assassinated, Gandhi gave his grandson a talisman, on which were engraved the 'Seven Blunders' out of which, said Gandhi, grows the violence that plagues the world: Wealth without work Pleasure without conscience Knowledge without character Commerce without morality Science without humanity Worship without sacrifice Politics without principles We have a lot to learn from this. Richard
I feel sorry for the grandson - worthy though it all is, fancy having that laid on you by your grandad just before he gets "Ooops, word censored!"bled. I bet he's a bundle of neuroseseses that grandson. not the sort of lad to go down the pub with. I bet he bores everyone to tears - when he's had a pint or two, out comes his talisman. They probably warn people - oooo you have to watch that one, when he whips out his talisman and gets onto the 'wealth without work' stuff you'll never get away. better give him a wide berth
