v2002brown
I am new to having Chcikens, had 3 hens for 1 week. Each night they are in different nest boxes. The last 2 mornings I have had an egg in a different nest box, both different sizes. How can I tell who laid the egg?
Eyren
What breed are your hens? What colour are the eggs? That might give us some clues to go on. Failing that, the only way you can be sure is to watch them like a hawk and check the nestboxes every time one of them leaves the henhouse! v2002brown
Hi there, I have a White Sussex, a Silverlink and a bluebell rock. I have had one large egg and one small egg, they are both a very light brown color. 1 is large and 1 is small, we first thought the bluebell rock had laid both but not convinved now!!!
