Stoat killed hens asleep in the Eglu

[chelsea]

I will let you know what they say tomorrow and then if they tell me a 3/4 week wait you might aswell go on and order!

[bellekatz]

Congratulations - isn't it exciting! Purple seems to be the 'in' colour at the moment. I think delivery times are currently between 3 and 4 weeks at the moment. Certainly it was just shy of a 3 week wait for ours (only 11 days to go now )

Mine was only 2 weeks so they can be quicker.

I ordered my cube on Monday 25th February and the delivery time was

13th March by courier (no chooks and you have to assemble it)

31st March by Omlet (if you wanted chooks or Omlet to assemble it)

[chelsea]

oooh, thanks Pam!

Im too far down here in Devon for Omlet people anyway so its always courier anyway.

should get it before my hen party fingers crossed then

[Olly]

is

I rang up last Wednesday, just to enquire about how long it would take. They said I could have it delivered on Tues 25th March, which is just about four weeks, as they had a van coming out this way on that day - otherwise it would have been nearer to six weeks.

I was still dithering, but that helped me decide to go ahead and order there and then! And Omlet will assemble it for me, even though I didn't order any chooks.

ok! 90% convinced on purple now!

AND I can get a shallow tubtrug to match in purple so thats a plus!

What is a tub trug

Ive gone for the orange cube, goes with my red eglu.

[ajm200]

A tub trug is like an oversized rubber bowl with handles - great for use in the garden

Thanks for that, they are rather lovely.. great colours too.

Do you use them for food and water for the chooks?

[Egluntyne]

Not usually.

Shallow ones make great dustbaths.

I use a large green one for emptying the poo tray purposes, and than carry it to the compost bin. Very useful.

[Moonie]

Blue and orange is the way to go!

[Moonie]

Infact time for pics .....

With a pink trug
