superjules
I was in the run with the chooks today and my nervous Silver Nick, who I've had for 2 weeks, flew onto my shoulder. Neither of my old birds have ever done that, I'm sure it was just because she had forgotten where the eglu was and wanted her bed , but it was still lovely. Don't tell the others but she might become my fave.
Egluntyne
What a pity the camera wasn't handy.
chelsea
Awww how cute! I think I'd get a strain if one of my big hens decided to do that!
superjules
What a pity the camera wasn't handy. Ah, but it was - a friend was round checking out my new additions and captured the moment on the mobile. I'll load it onto my pics when I can work out how to do it. sihill
Oh good I thought mine were wierd. They love to sit on my shoulder. Most days I have two bantams squeezed onto one shoulder. I have just got another one and she is having to put up with the crook of my elbow as there is no room left on my shoulder - they prefer the left shoulder - I don't know why!
