henny penny
Does any one add garlic to the layered pellets and if so how much? I noticed scats had granules or is powdered form better
Christian
I add a heaped teaspoon to each grub, when I remember The powdered stuff is better as it sticks to the pellets, whereas the granules just settle at the bottom of the grub. You could always add a clove of garlic to their drinking water instead (although mine fish it out and eat it )

Olly
yes, mine do that with cloves of garlic, too! I mix up pellets, grit, garlic and limestone flour and keep it in a jar, and I just add a scoop of garlic to each mix. I don't think you can go wrong - if you think it isn't working, add a bit more garlic. If the smell of garlic seems worse than the smell of poo, reduce the dose a little! It's also used for reptiles like tortoises. I got mine from Ebay!
