Has anyone tried Jason products?

Recommended Posts

Just curious, as I bought some today from our local health shop. I've been following the topics on using products that are SLS free with interest, but not having had skin problems in the past, not paid it too much attention. Since I've been ill my skin has been terrible - all over my body the skin is getting very dry and flaky. I think it is just a response to the illness and is improving, but it's made me stop and think about how much rubbish I slop on everyday!

Anyway, I got some Faith in Nature handwash to try, and some Jason shampoo, shower gel and hand lotion. Has anyone else used them, and how do they compare to the Faith in Nature / Green People products?

I can't afford to completely swap over to SLS free products, but I though I'd make a start and see if my skin stops falling off!

Here is a link to them (can only find an american site) http://www.jason-natural.com/

I've seen them in my local wholefood shop where I buy my Faith in Nature stuff, but not tried them. Just had a big clearout of old makeup I don't use any more and anything toiletries with parabens in them, so looking to restock on a few things...

Yes it is we usually buy the huge bottle of shower wash and it lasts the 2 of us a good couple of months. We buy the huge moisturiser when we go visit family in the West Indies as we constantly slap it on!:lol:

The moisturiser the OH used is the 84% aloe vera one - personally its way too rich for my skin but he loves it and it suits his skin really well.

He was given steriod cream as a child and was told to use it every day morning and night which he did for nearly 10 years

Needless to say it has done a lot of damage :(

I've been using them recently, and love them. The lavender face wash/hand soap is lovely and silky and I have been using the sea kelp shampoo until I started the no 'poo route. You wont need conditioner and it lasts for much longer than a 'normal' shampoo. A bit expensive but not as much as some SLS free shampoos.

I just bought some of the kids shampoo. It smells so nice, but I cant use it for me at the moment as I'm giving the sans 'poo thing a go. I used it on my son this evening as hemanaged to cover himself in poached egg and peanut butter (dont ask  ), which I wasnt getting out without any shampoo. His hair was so silky and soft afterwards.
