BarbaraJ
Mine seems to if it ever stops raining, at least the top layer does so at least they keep a bit dryer. They don't seem to mind anyway!

Mirkwood
i have put plastic corragated sheeting around the sides and roof/door. you have to screw them on with wooden blocks to act as washers so that if the wind gets them the dont rip off. then when the warmer weather comes you take them off ( other wise roast chicken ). my girls can go out in the wind and rain scratch about in the dry without having their bums on show all the time

SharonX
I purchased a piece of tarpauline from B&Q measuring 1.90mx2.90m It is a perfect fit to cover the entire run but was a little too long as it covered the eglu housing as well. We pegged it down with tent pegs so there was entire coverage during the bad storms last week but now we have rolled it back so that it is mostly sheltered but they still get plenty on light. At a cost of around £2 it has been a life saver. There are eyelets every metre so we have just tied it on to the run & tent pegged it down to the ground. A much better option than the winter cover from Omlet as will last years and much much cheaper. Sharon x
Egluntyne
Yes....I find it dries out quite quickly. I just have plastic sheeting over the top of the runs.
