meezers Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 I know they are only pottering about doing 'chicken stuff', but I felt like giving them a little round of applause this morning - after spending yesterday afternoon 'eating' their dust bath ( well , there is a fair amount of grit in it ! )Lottie was the first to use it properly this morning, she was in there for about 20mins and had an orderly, but not very patient queue forming by the time she'd finished. While Lottie was 'in the bath' , Elsie was busy laying her second egg, youngest son was in the run with them, so as soon as Elsie emerged from the coop, he was in there like a shot to retrieve a lovely warm fresh egg !
