Jules.
Here are some taken today, the quality isn't great, & they were taken before the doors opened so are quite empty as I have to be careful about posting pictures of children on the net. We had 32 children today, not as many as we usually have ( around 50-60 in past times) & they are a lovely bunch. Here's the TARDIS- I can't tell you how great it is! The light on the top flashes & spins & we have the whooshing music that plays when the TARDIS leaves or lands ( blink & you'll miss it). The children are in 4 teams, the Bakers, Davisons, Ecclestons & Tennants, & they have badges which are the colours of their team with a picture of the appropriate doctor on it. At the front of the stage are 4 TARDIS posting boxes ( shoeboxes!) in which the children post the stars that they get each day for turning up, doing the quiz, learning the memory verse & for good behaviour. Hubby with his cup of tea. The TARDIS cake I made. Hope he like it.

Tina C
Uh Uh blue icing... For Layla's 4th birthday she asked for a Zeebad (Magic Roundabout cake). The other mums were horrified when they saw it (I found out why later). Love the Tardis - what are you going to do with it when the week is over? Jules.
The TARDIS & the holiday special theme will be used again. J & S think up fab ideas ( I got really excited when they said this year it was going to be Doctor Who). They go to other churches around the country a couple of times a year, one being in Hitchin, & they can do the whole HS again there, as the children won't have seen it before. J& S just get slicker & slicker at it with each presentation, they have a real gift for working with children. You may even see the TARDIS on a beach this summer as it may go on a UBM beach mission! The cake will be eaten tonight at the family fun night, I made it big because we are hoping to have quite a few children & adults there. Should I be worried about the blue food colouring? Will it make the children wild ( they will be eating at the end of the night, so I hope they will go to bed ok ) I just wish i could put a link on here to HS so you can see what goes on -we have a great time. Tina C
Layla is normally very placid. She stayed up late that night... I had no idea about the blue icing as Layla did not really eat sweets etc in those days but aparently its the worst one. Mums of young lively boys trembled when they saw it. Everyone still likes to remind me about that day...
