Joojoo
Hi I've got a set of garden furniture that has almost a very fine type of mesh covering it. In some respects I would almost say that it feels like it is slightly coated in plastic, but I'm not sure - it's probably just a protective coating . Sorry I'm probably not explaining it very well. Anyway... I need to give it a darn good clean as it looks really grubby after being out over the winter, but I'm not sure what to use on it. I tried "normal" housey type cleaning products on it last year and it was ok but not as good as I would have liked and never got back to its original white(ish). Has anyone got any ideas of what I could try on them? I thought of the steam cleaner but not sure whether it would do the job. x
missuscluck
What about upvc cleaner hat you would use on white upvc windows. Steam cleaning also sounds a good option.
Joojoo
That's a good idea - I hadn't thought of upvc cleaner. I think I've got some in the cupboard from when the windows were fitted :oops not that I don't clean the windows or anything

I don't have a power washer, although I could borrow one - but I don't know whether it might be too much for the fabric. I think I'll try the steamer on it. I did wonder about starching it, but that might be a bit drastic
