4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I was in the garden with my girls on Saturday evening. I checked for eggs, one lovely one from Luci, popped it in my pocket and then carried on pottering in the garden.

 

The girls were digging and scratching about and I thought I'd just tidy up a bit. I raked up some soil (thrown out of the flowerbed by the girls) and then I noticed a hole that needed filling in (again, courtesey of the girls). I bent down to dig some soil into it and after the third dig something gooey and wet fell on the ground. At first I thought I had got a slug or a chicken poo with my trowel but the I put my hand in my jacket pocket and realised that I had crushed the egg in my pocket and egg was runnig down my coat and jeans! I felt soooo stupid and had to apologise to Luci! Duh!

I've got one of those hand-warmer things, I keep it in my coat pocket for chilly chicken-watching days. You know the sort of thing, a plastic pouch filled with gel and you have to bend a little metal disc to activate it.

 

I keep bending over to pull out weeds or something, and then feeling my hip get rather warm and realise I've set it off again! I need to lose some weight.
