I'm not really into make-up but I do always wear lipstick and, occasionally, blusher.

 

For years now I've used the ends of lipstick as blusher. I collect about 5 and then scoop all the lipstick out with the handle end of a teaspoon and s"Ooops, word censored!"e it into an old blusher pot. Pop it into the microwave - two 30 second bursts on Full Power. Leave it to cool..........

 

I do also use a lipbrush to use the ends of lipstick...... but thought others might want to know of another way to use them.

Hmm, an ingenious method Lesley. Luckily you use those shades of lipstick though-In my head I have visions of someone who uses scarlet lipstick doing the same thing!!!

Wow - I thought I was the only one who did this. I too save all my lipsticks and the bits that are left in the bottom on the stick I s"Ooops, word censored!" out put them into a small glass container, microwave until melted, stir and voila a lovely new lipstick which you just apply by using a brush.

Lesley - it's Goth/Emo (as in emotional) ............................but I like Emu sooooooooooo much better

 

If we called them Emus it may even manage to bring a smile to their little depressed faces

Quite right Matthew - I thought I was in Green Thinking - I'll move myself now..........it's been one of those days

I'm sure we can think of some way to control pests with defunct lipstick though
