Tina C
Welcome to the forum Beaker! And congratulations on your first egg. Did you do the egg dance? I have had a couple of occasions when chickens have 'camped out', but I prefer that they are safe in the eglu. Keeping posting Ginger back in - she will get the message eventually
Egluntyne
Why not try luring them back into the run with sweetcorn just before dusk? Chickens don't see well once the light intensity drops to a certain level, so she may well not be able to find her way home, and could be very vulnerable if a fox is about. MedusA
Welcome to you and your girls, beaker. I hope Ginger soon realises that home is best when it comes to roosting.
BarbaraJ
Hi welcome to the forum, did you leave them in their run for a few days to imprint 'home' to them? seemed to work with mine.
