chili pepper
While I was watching my girls his eve, daughter exclamed that they had a worm. I looked to see Ruby running round the garden with something dangling from her beak with the others in hot pursuit. It turned out to be a hatchling bird!! They fought over it and obviously enjoyed it.....is this normal???

Egluntyne
Oh dear! No different to them than a frog or a mouse.
chocchick
I've heard another forum chicken ate a baby blackbird. Lucily when there was a tempory nest in my pen Trinny my old head chicken just wandered over, looked confused and peered at it. I suppose maybe it was too big to eat
