Stevie
Last week,Onion my Gingernut had an adventure by getting herself ontop of fence-i added trellis to the top to extend height.I gave myself a pat on back for job well done and treated the entire fence afterwards with Cuprinol. The problem is the handrail of my decking which is at a convenient height for them to get to the fence top. A little while ago,Sage my Pepperpot managed to flutter ontop the trellis so cue me rushing outside and grabbing her.So tommorrow i gotta extend it a little higher...gonna soon look like castle Colditz...! Sage. How the fence is at the moment.
Blackrocksrock
Could you try netting across the top somehow? She is clever
Stevie
I think she pannicked while up there cos she kinda froze afterwards! I think if i add another 8" or so-she wont be able to get up there plus the fact they're both not laying yet and should get heavier when that starts. Previous. and now-castle colditz eat your heart out!

Stevie
The picture of your escapee is beautiful. I must admit she is particulary striking with them black feathers.Hopefully she'll start laying this week as she crouches when i approach her-plus her food consumption has gone right up!
