a red eglu on child genius

Recommended Posts

i only had it on because I was recording the apprentice for when Ian got home, so we could watch it together. When we tried to watch it, the box had recorded something completely different so we watched the apprentice you've been fired and will have to watch the episode on saturday when it's repeated

My kids has asked if they could watch it and very pleased when they saw the eglu and gingernut rangers.

The programme was quite interesting, I was pleased to see my kids disapproved of how rude Aimee was to her parents (especially her mum) and commented throughout on who had a good relationship with their parents etc. My kids concluded that they didn't want to be geniuses (although I think they are of course  )

I thought the family with the eglu was the only nice family btw even before the eglu appeared

Yep i spotted the eglu lol

I was watching the other night a programme on how teens view their bodies , anerexia, another problem (can't remember name)where they see their bodies totally out of proportion to what they actually are. Anyway they showed a boy anerexic who i was sure i recognised and when watching the child genius there was another about 12yr old boy that they didnt show this time except at end and i'm sure it was him!

I saw that programme too Barbara about the teen anorexics. Was it called something like "am I normal" or "make me normal"?

I didn't notice the same boy...but it would make sense as the children in the programme all tended to be high achievers/perfectionists.

I caught this last night. Actually I thought that Aimee had the patience of a saint regarding her mother who seemed a very controlling woman always spying on her daughter. It must be very difficult to have a really clever child, especially when the child realises that it is cleverer than the parents. I just hoped that the children managed to grow up reasonably undamaged and also were able to form proper relationships with their peers.
