Only I've over ordered on the old on line shop and want to bung some in the freezer but have some dim recollection that it doesn't freeze.

Yes you can. It's the semiskimmed and whole milk you can't freeze, I think

My Mum definitely freezes semi-skimmed milk. You just need to make sure it is thoroughly defrosted before you use it, as it separates in the process of freezing.

I freze semi skimmd milk occasionally.

 

It goes a slightly sinister creamy colour but is absolutely fine when thawed out.

Thank you - I freeze full cream for the children and semi skimmed for OH but have never done skimmed so will bung it in and see how we go! Thanks everyone.

I always have some skimmed milk in the freezer. It will be fine although it looks an odd yellowy colour when you bring it out to defrost
