Minky Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 I got home from work yesterday to find that not only our new little Bluebelle Enid had laid her first egg, but also Maude - who we've had for over a year, having got her at POL, and who I'd resigned to egglessness - had laid her first egg too!! I'm so proud It's often said that women who spend alot of time in eachother's company synchronise their lady times, I wonder if hens are the same?! I think they may well end up either omeleted, scrambled or caked as we have rather a glut atm . . . may even make a cake in honour of Maudey's egg achievements, I'm so pleased that she's laid, especially as she had been so ill and pulled through, really shows how healthy she is now, bless her fluffy knickers!
