Thought I should tell you the story about getting the girls into the Eglu tonight. Wasn't sure if I should leave them to it and hope they did it themselves or deciding a time and me helping them along.

 

Like a typical fretful mum, I made the decision for them.

In went the torch to the Eglu. Lucy was quite interested so she popped in and had a look and then came out again. The others couldn't care less.

 

What did I do?... ha ha...

 

I got in the run and put my hands and feet into lot's of poop and very nicely told them it was bed time and that mummy was putting them to bed. They were not impressed to say the least but it worked.

I am sure I heared one of them say in chicken language, " Nice poop on your hands" and then laughed.

 

My husband, Chris and daughter, Melody found it hilarious that I had crawled in but it got the job done.

I just know that tomorrow is going to be the same and probably the day after and that and the next day...... I shan't go on as you all get my drift.

 

Day 1 at our house went well overall. They seem to have settled in quite nicely.
